The effect was Deccan, India's primary low cost, no ruffle airline, which was opened on the force of a simple dream. Our first flight was launched on 23rd August 2003 from Bangalore to Hubli. From that day forward improvement and cost efficiency has been the cornerstone of our business philosophy and strategy.

Deccan is moving towards a paradigm shift in its product offering and services at every passenger touch point. More facilities and services are planned for the future.

Our 4th year of operation, we are the biggest airline in terms of reach. We have eight aircraft bases across the country at Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Trivandrum and Chennai. Our fleet of 20 brand new Airbus A-320 aircraft with an average age of 1.5 years along with 23 ATR Turboprop aircraft is the backbone of our cost efficient, secure and consistent operations.
